My word-stream was stoppered awhile
Snowed down by an avalanche of daily life
I try in earnest to unpause, but
don’t know why-where-what-how to restart
So, I wade knee deep through poetic waters of the masters
Hoping that will urge my muse into motion
Writers are often asked this question, “What do you do when you have writer’s block? What are the things you try?
Well, I don’t have writer’s block, but I have definitely been blocked by the fact that I haven’t switched on my laptop in the last few months and attempted to write. Hectic routine(a.k.a) normal everyday business took over. So, I am stumbling into this AtoZ with a hope that it will help me get my “write” footing back. I figured one way to probably start writing again would be to learn from the best in the field, use poems from the best to inspire me. If I wanted to be more refined I could have named the theme as “POETRY, INSPIRED” but I thought I will go with what popped into my head first. Hence, my theme shall be named
So, my April posts will have one poem by another poet(probably well-known) which I shall use in some way as a prompt to come up with my own poem. That’s it!
So, tune in this April to my blog for some really good poems and some of mine!:)
