When I get,
I give back
in equal measure.

Sweet words are met with smiles
Anger meets fury.

But, lately I have started to wonder,
if there are better ways to balance the equation.

What if —

storm meets calm
anger meets understanding
sharp words meet comfort
cold hears meet laughter
hate meets hope.

Thank you Amit. It is more of an intention than an aim.

So simple and humble response to the chaos and stress of the modern world that we overlook it. There is elegance in simplicity.

That would transform the world! Yes! That would be a more profound balance.

That would, wouldn’t it? Difficult, but all starts with one individual and one intention

I do believe you have hit the essence of balance right on the head……..meeting anger with calm spreads calmness and deflects their anger, when it has nothing to strike against. This tends to be my way. I love this poem!
