It was a beautiful Sunday afternoon. The weather was just perfect for enjoying a quiet family lunch outside and we planned to do just that. Only thing, I was 9 months pregnant and we had a toddler in tow and all of us were really hungry. We made it to a nearby cafe only to find that most of the tables were taken. There was only one left with high chairs! As we contemplated our options, a family sitting nearby offered us their table, and we gratefully accepted. We were so relieved and ordered quickly. Now, that isn’t the end of this story. With their high table, came a new waiter, who promptly mixed up all their lunch orders as we looked on embarrassed. Apparently, kindness isn’t rewarded immediately. Hope their good karma catches up with them someday.

Hah. Karma will reward them, and you as well. I really enjoyed this tale!

Kindness is a beautiful thing and I am certain their good deed has been rewarded.

Their memories reward them if nothing else will reminding them who they really are.

I apologize for getting to your submission so late. I lost internet (!) yesterday during the prompt and just got it back sometime early this morning. I don’t care for theought of Karma, it is as if there is a limit to kindness. But I do like this story a lot! But what a strange waiter to mix up orders! He must ave been new.

As the Wheel turns and we give and give, the goodness of it eventually touches us back. I believe in that. So, I just know Karma will visit them.
