cloudburst.
I soared
in rainbow showers.
the wind swept the cloud away.
my parched skin
throbs for color.
This poem is written for BARATHON DAY 6. For a change, I thought I shall follow the suggested prompt:)

I like short poems as it’s easy for dumb ol’ me to follow. Your poem made me somehow think of aurora even though you wrote about rainbows… Nice wordplay.
Short and profound! Loved it! 🙂
Thanks!
didn’t quite get it, I’m sorry
it is probably not very explicitly written but it is my interpretation of “six minutes of fame” by drawing parallels to it in nature.
Thanks for explaining but I don’t always get meanings. Can you believe it , I even need simple tv ads to be translated as I can’t get the idiom
That us indeed a short but sweet poem. Packed.
Here is my 6th #barathon post

I like the disclaimer – for a change, I thought I will follow the prompt. This one’s power packed. You are a amazing poetess with a strong voice and this one’s another of your great work.
Thank you Sonia:) Yes, atleast once in this Barathon I thought I should write something derived from the theme
