You dry iced your veins

Pain will not catch you again

But, here we are now

You wanted to disappear

Haunting obligation kept you nailed

But, here we are now

You puppet your way each day

Master of strings lost forgotten

But, here we are now

Open up these strangled veins

Allow blood to pulse its way

For me

Let the warmth of this second summer

Touch you

For me

Feel your hair stand in the cold wind

Let my cry penetrate this force shield

For us

Allow joy

Pain might greet us on the way.

Still, bloom. Stay.

Yes, very heartfelt, I felt sad reading it but hopeful for the protagonist. We might go through terrible pains and experience heavy burdens but our hope and determination will get us through it all in the end.
