(1)

Writing is

my gateway to “me”.

(2)

Questions get answered

the path looks clearer

each time I put pen to paper

(3)

As the words pour out from my head

The little holes inside me disappear

Lost parts become whole again

(4)

Mommy of one, now mommy of two

venting,

knowledge sharing,

this is how I do.

(5)

Creation of new worlds

channeling of imagination

growth.

prevention of Alzheimer

(6)

I walk around with eyes wide-open

searching for the next sweet scoop

nature never was so beautiful

life never looked this good

now that I started seeing them

through fresh eyes to write about.

(7)

a skill to hone and use, for

making a better world soon.

(8)

the world is racing,

we talk too soon.

while writing, I slow down

to match the speed of my thoughts.

(9)

But mostly I write,

cause I just want to

Create: that’s what I do.

How true ..Writing is probably to prevent Alzhiemer or dementia the most dreading disease nowadays. It is a gateway for me too.

Writing is….my gateway to “me”…. I guess this is Universal Truth for many of us who started writing just to find ourselves. Each line of this poem echoes my sentiments. Beautifully penned Namy.

The perfectly described emotives, the clever verses and of course, the sheer word wizardry are a verbal delight to read through. Keep writing and keep delighting.
